Skin Contact is the best but you may wish to experiment with a light T-shirt or towel until you find the right level of sensation for you. Take your time to find the “just right” position for you, the mat should feel comfortable. Do not be apprehensive as the round plastic spikes are painless and will create a gentle stimulation. The spikes have a rounded tip, so can't hurt you, however people with sensitive skin, haemophilia or psoriasis should use the mat with caution. Our rubber is sourced from a sustainable forest. We choose to create with this because of the highly grippy properties of the material but also because its is biodegradable and protects are our planet from extremely harmful and sadly common PVC yoga mats. No animal testing. All products are 100% vegan. Our packaging is currently 100% recyclable and where we can we are making cuts to the amount of packaging used while still protecting the products you purchase. We choose freight by water as this minimises our carbon footprint. Beyond the manufacturing we actively support our planet by planting trees with Hometree and direct action on ocean conservation with Sea Shepherd. We believe that protecting the environment also begins in mental health and education. When people consumer consciously they buy for a genuine need or purpose as opposed to excessive consumption which is often triggered by low self esteem and consuming to mask feelings to inadequacy or comparison.
