For the women who are true all-mountain riders and want a board which will take you from pipes in the park to fresh tracks in the backcountry. The Chromatic board is a directional twin, it’s twin flex and construction make it a great for the park and jibbing around on the slopes. Whilst the direction tips give it a back-country style. The Chromatic is suitable for any style of rider including beginners as it has a soft to medium flex, this makes it easier to initiate turns and give the board a loose surfer feel.

The profile of the Chromatic uses the original banana which is a blend of rocker and mild camber to create a board which gives you the best of both. The rocker in the centre allows the board to glide over powder and is easier to manoeuvre. Whilst the camber outside the bindings gives the board pop and a playful feel. The camber increases the board's stability when riding downhill at high speeds, plus increases the edge to edge transitions.

The Chromatic construction gives you a great all-rounder board. The blend of Tri-Ax and Bi-Ax fibreglass creates a board with a torsional twist whilst remaining responsive. The core is made up of aspen and paulownia to give you both a strong and lightweight board. On any terrain, the Chromatic will keep you up to speed with an ECO extruded base. This base is fast and easy to maintain encase you incur any digs on the way down. A GNU board wouldn’t be a GNU board unless it features Magne-traction edges. These are serrated along both the heel and toe to give you the superb bite into the hardpack snow and ice. These edges improve your edge hold to give you increased confidence when riding multiple terrains.

Lib-Tech boards are made in the Mervin factory in the USA. This factory is the most environmentally friendly factory which is powered by wind and water. The materials have carefully been selected to create an eco-board, made using renewable wood, low voc resin and bio topsheet. During the process of making the snowboard, the Mervin factory uses water-based inks and sublimation. Plus, the final coating is no toxic, so it doesn’t run into our water streams and cause damage to the environment. It’s evident that climate change is having an impact on the mountain environment, so with a Mervin factory board to can reduce your carbon footprint whilst still enjoying a good man board which is going to give you a fun ride down the mountain.
