Snowboard Type: The Fee Thinker is an all mountain snowboard.
Rider level: Suitable for intermetiate to advanced riders.
Profile: Camber (Reverse rocker). This is raised inbetween the bindings to give you better edge hold and stabbility when riding fast on flats.
Shape: Twin shape with twin flex which is equal in the nose and rail.
Pro-Tip on the nose and tail is slightly tapered to reduce swing weight which makes it easier to maneuver around.
Flexibility: Medium to aggressive board, rated 5 - 8.
Base: Sintered WFO. This is a high density base, which has wax infused deep into it.
Core: FSC certified Super Fly 700G, which is light weight but strong.
Dualzone EGD is a perpendicular wood grain at the toe and heel edge. This adds strength and control to your board.
Squeezebox, which is varied thickness in the core. Thinner sections give you more flex and transfers energy to the tip and tail of the board. This makes the board more snappy and easier to manipulate
Fiberglass: 45° fiberglass gives you a more agggressive ride. Plus carbon strands add life to the board whilst keeping weight down.
Edges: Frostbite edges extend beneath your bindings giving you superb edge to edge hold on hardpack and icy conditions.
Infinite Ride processed, which is when burton over build the board in order to break it in using a machine. This allows the board to maintain its flex from day 1.
Mounting: Channel mountain system which is quick and easly. This System gives you more flexibility when choosing your stance.
Compatible with most bindings on the current market, but not old 4X4 plate specific bindings.

The Free thinker works well as an all mountain board as it has flex and pop for park, a sintered base for speed and a carbon for response and precision riding. This board is designed for intermediate to advanced riders, as it’s has a medium to stiff flex. Its camber profile makes it’s easier to catch as edge, so it’s not suited to learning turns on. The Free Thinker has a twin shape and flex making it easy to jib around on and ride switch. It gives you freedom in the park to try out tricks and get creative on the slopes. Plus, the twin flex means that the nose and tail behave exactly the same.
The Free Thinker uses the ever-popular camber profile, which gives you a quick edge to edge transfer and stability when going flat and fast. The camber has increase contract with the snow which does increase the chances of catching an edge so it’s not suitable to learn turns on. The profile means that the board feels livelier and you get extra pop compared to a rocker. The Free Thinker has a Pro-Tip at the nose and tail which is tapered slightly to reduce swing weight, this makes it easier to maneuver the board when making turns on the snow and rotations in the air.
If your favorite part of snowboarding is getting some speed, then look no further. The Free Thinker has a Sintered WFO base which is tough, and wax is embedded deeply. This base gives you lots of speed to get over any flats and prevents you from getting stuck on sticky spring slush. This base is hardwearing and is more difficult to maintain if damaged. With a FSC Super Fly 700G core this board is lightweight yet strong. The core is made up of stronger and lighter weight wood, which has been targeted in specific areas to add strength and pop. Plus, wood grain is place perpendicular to the core along the whole heel and toe edge. This improved the edge hole and increase the strength of the board. Not only is the Free Thinker durable it also has flexibility due to the squeezebox shaping. This range of thicknesses in the wood throughout the length of the board creates stiffer sections for power and thinner sections for flexibility.
The Free Thinker has 45° fiberglass which reduces the torsional twist and creates a more aggressive ride. There is also a carbon layer that runs the full length of the board which improves the responsiveness of the board. The carbon layer keeps the board lightweight and adds lots of pop. To add to the responsiveness of the board, the edge is quick to bite into compact snow and ice due to the added frostbite edge. This edge jolts out at the bindings to improve your edge hold. The Free Thinker really does give you a feeling of freedom as the board has gone through the infinite ride process. This machine breaks the board in for you, so you have consistent flex from the day that you clip in.
