My first wetsuit was a Billabong Foil. So thermal panel on the back and chest, glued and blind stitched. I did however find that after about 20 short sessions, the stitching was coming loose and fraying in places through no real serious wear and tear. Since then I've bought liquid seamed wetsuits such as this one. The high end Furnace Carbox X has liquid seams both internally and externally. This, being a mid range suit, only has external liquid seams, glued and stitched seams on the inside. There's a thermal panel on both the chest and back area. Fits well. If you're going to buy a wettie on line, be sure to buy one size up and down if you're not sure, then keep the one with the best fit.
